Thrive with Martina
Ever since I was a child I have found joy in helping others. I was born a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), an empath and an introvert.
I hated seeing others suffer, whether they be humans or animals. As a child, I was highly intuitive and analytical, which were not easy qualities to possess in childhood, especially as there was no one to guide me. I saw, perceived, and felt experiences that others did not, which was lonely. I was excellent at reading the faces and body language of adults, which helped me survive. I could morph myself into any kind of a child that adult needed me to be. Over the years, I discovered who I really am and learned to embrace my true self. I learned to manage my high sensitivity, intuitive abilities, and introversion. I like to say that I went from an anxious worrier to an enthusiastic warrior!
My journey began when I left home to attend college. It became alarmingly apparent that the life skills I developed as a child were dysfunctional and inadequate in the larger world. I suffered anxiety and depression while searching for better ways to navigate my inner landscape and external enviornments.
In college I earned a degree in economics, leading to a brief career in corporate sales. While I was good at my job, it lacked the meaning and life purpose I craved. Serendipitously, I was led to pursue contemplatitve practice, which offered me the ability to understand how to work with my sensitivities so that I could thrive in the world.
I becoming a student and teacher of meditation, mindfulness and intuition. From there, I became an intuitive business coach before obtaining a master’s degree in psychology and advanced certifications in cutting edge technologies and applied neuroscience.
During my career as a trauma recovery psychotherapist I took great care to hide my intuitive gifts. I was concerned I might lose credibility, or worse, my license. My reputation might be tarnished, and I might lose respect from my colleagues.
I was wrong.
In time, I met a remarkable coach and mentor who encouraged me to reclaim the intuitive gifts I had tucked away. Surprisedly, my business soared to new heights. In the process, I created a system that has helped countless introverts and Highly Sensitive Persons.
It is my passion to partner with high achieving introverts & HSPs to develop customized resiliency skills that allow them to express their natural gifts and claim Reliable Personal Power in every area of their lives.
Come out of hiding. The world needs your gifts!

What Cycling Has Taught
Me About Life.
When you’re climbing a mountain, keep your head down. Focus on what is right in front of you. Don’t try to guess how long you’ll be on the mountain. Slow and steady wins the race. Keep your head in the game. Don’t be distracted by people passing you. Go at your own pace. When the mountain is steep take it one pedal stroke at a time. Draw on your core strengths. Breathe. Take breaks. Remember that at the top of each mountain a downhill awaits you.
My longest ride was up the coast of California to Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevadas.
